Amazing new classroom addition

Great Laminator

I wanted a laminator for at home and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This laminator is very inexpensive and works great

my seond Fellowes laminator, my previous one was over 15 years old. had no problem so decided I would try a second one. simple to use, very pleased with it.

Spectra 95 Laminator worked extremely well

9 months after my original purchase, thanks to a move to another state, I finally got to try out my Spectra 95 Fellowes Laminator. My girls do a lot of art work and I was looking for a way to perserve some of their paper art. I started with an oil crayon picture of a sunflower my youngest created at a local arts center class. The laminator did an excellent job and I don't have to worry about the oil crayon work getting warm and coming off on other surfaces.

Not really work as expected

I read various website and reviews for laminators and decided to give this a try as my first laminator purchase. The main purpose of my purchase is to make some DYI education board games, flash cards or printed documents etc for my young kids at home and sometimes for photo laminating. It looks cute and works great for a while at the very beginning, until I start laminating some handmade pages with holes. I was trying to make a book similar to go away the big green monster that it is half of A4 page with some holes in the page. The laminating results are just nightmare... big bubbles, or only edge is laminated but the center of the page itself does not. I originally thought maybe it is not hot enough when I put the pouch in so I tried to laminating the page again, but it just make it even worse. I don’t know if it is a design issue or just a defect of the particular product I bought but really frustrated with the results. Since then laminating big pages never get perfect results Eg the edge of the page has about 5mm frosty where before it is almost 1mm and invisible etc. Now I only use it to laminating small stuff like flash card and board game pieces etc, or a complete A4 size document. first laminator

This is a very simple little piece of equipment. I've never owned a laminator before and I was able to figure it out quickly. Now my wife can laminate at will and keep herself organized, and she loves it! Honestly it seems a little slow at first, but it really doesn't take that long, like a half minute to laminate a letter size document. It's reliable as long as you feed it in straight. I only wish it had some sort of guide on the inside to control how straight the document is going in. You have to eyeball it.

Cons: no guide pieces for straight document feeding
