The chairs arrived in two batches, and I was impressed with the speed of the shipping, and the packaging. Assembly was easy and took about 10 minutes per chair. The chairs themselves are solid wood, well designed, and comfortable to sit in. They are simple enough and I ordered without cushions to make it easy to dress them up in a variety of ways. For the cost, convenience, and product, they are an excellent bargain.

I ordered these chairs because they purportedly hold 800 lbs. I have a cousin who
visits once a year and weighs 450 pounds and always breaks my chairs. I love the way the chairs look in my house and now feel ready for this cousin's visit. The upholstery option was so inexpensive and looks truly lovely. Well packaged and came with screws and everything needed. Only drawback was communication: chair bases and upholstered seats were split into two orders and updates were hard to decipher--at one point it looked like one order had been cancelled! Chairs arrived first, then seats took another couple of weeks. But they finally arrived and were perfect, so I am very pleased so far. I will let you know how they performed after cousin's next visit.

Bought the walnut...its not walnut color, too dark and red. Anyway was going to exchange but they want a 35% restocking fee, even with exchange....(plus you need to pay to ship them back)... buy at your own risk. Wont be purchasing here again
