I needed more storage than my MacMini offers, and added a 1TB external SSD drive, which served well for a few years, but became unreliable lately. After a scare that I had lost my entire photo library, I replaced the SSD with this WD Blue 2 TB card, engineered for more robust conditions, and it's now my primary storage, with several backups!
I would recommend this to a friend!
