Several years ago, I bought 4 of these chairs. They were white, smooth resin, comfortable and great for entertaining. I recently bought 2 more, thinking I was getting the same chair. I did not. They are not white, more of a cream and they are not smooth, they have a texture with black coloring. I cannot imaging why the style was changed. They always look dirty. Guests would think they have to dust them before sitting. I am keeping them because it is too much of a hassle to return them. They are outside in the sun. I hope the black coloring fades. What a disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love these chairs. I wanted two chairs to go with wood cane seat chairs for which I cannot find duplicates - look how well they go! I was concerned that they would be clunky because they are resin and I didn’t know what that meant but they’re great. The paint has a rough texture but that’s not a bother. They attractive, sturdy and easy to move around.

While these are plastic, they are very sturdy and comfortable and look almost wood-like. They look great as well, and I am so happy with my purchase. My husband and I bought these for our dining table because this style of chair in the finish and quantity we need is a little out of our budget. Our plan is to use these as long as we need them and someday retire them to a covered porch or patio with our outdoor dining table.
