Maybe the best out there

Have to give credit where it’s truly due. I have several of these enclosures, as I went on a spree to find what would work best for me. Out of the many brands I bought, this seems to work the best. I popped a Samsung 990 pro in it and hooked it to my MacBook Pro M2 for video work. It transfers files extremely fast and what’s nice is you can store the files you are still working on and edit right on to this drive until completed. Then either leave the finished work on this, or move it to wherever you like.
An advantage this has over others, is heat dissipation. It manages probably better than even the models that have built in fans.
Highly recommended.

This enclosure is as close to perfect for a TB4/USB4 enclosure as you can get. With an SN7100, 2TB drive inside, I'm able to pull 3000-3100 MB/s over my M1 Mac Mini's Thunderbolt 4 ports. For comparison, my Mac Mini's internal nvme pulls 1800-2600 MB/s. I keep a huge photo archive on this drive and it loads quickly and draws up preview images with no perceptible difference from the internal Mac NVME.
Aesthetically, looks high quality, is an eye grabber for your desktop and extremely well built. Its design keep the drive running cool. Overall, will buy again.

This a very heavy and solidly made drive that should help it dissipate any heat that is generated though fast files transfer. I have yet to put it through its paces but time will tell if it worth the price.
