I bought the power access-black about six months ago to replace my old power pocket Plier that I still like. I wasn’t sure about the power access because of the low quality metal it’s made of but decided to take a chance. I carry a multi tool daily and would feel lost without one. When the power access arrived I was pretty disappointed and trying to use it daily made me even more so. I’ve pinched my fingers several times in the gears when opening and closing it and the knife is a joke, really thin and puny. It doesn’t cut too bad but is difficult to sharpen and can’t be used for even gentle prying. Another gripe is when applying force to the handle, the metal digs in my hand and is not very comfortable. Also, the black finish is all but rubbed off on most of the tools. The rest of the tools are not too bad, but they are difficult to open and again, I’ve pinched my fingers trying to unlock and fold them. In short, I’m going back to carrying my old power pocket plier until I find a suitable replacement. I haven’t had any issues at all with my old one.

Really like the size and weight better than the bigger units I have, plus the pocket clip works great for my needs. It needs a partial serrated blade and the Phillips needs to be slightly bigger, plus a good heat treat on the tools is needed because they are a little on the soft side. It has become my daily carry tool.

Bough the multi-tools for my grandson who is joining the Air Force. Tools like these are very important for the airmen in his duties. He love it and knows the dependability of the tool.
