High quality in construction and content creation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microphone will make you feel like a real radio announcer. You can collaborate with co-workers on Zoom calls, record you new podcast, or stream games on Twitchy. The construction is first rate and beautiful to look at. The setup could not be easier, complete plug and play. The Quantum Engine app will load automatically and it super easy to navigate. I really like the ability to change up the mounting situation, from desk stand to boom arm, to tripod mount. All the controls on the microphone body are easy to access and intuitive in their function. There is also a RGB volume meter around the mute button to help you monitor your levels on the go.

Pretty Cool product to show off in video meetings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Quantum Stream Studio is a very good USB microphone that sounds great and of high quality. It has a simple mute on off button indicated by red led ring around it. It is made of high quality metal and is very sturdy. It is a pretty expensive microphone but I would say it is value for your money, especially with the quality both in terms of sound and the product in general. It looks very sleek. With it had an option to connect to USB-C so that I can connect to mac devices but you can find converters for pretty cheap. So it's not that big of a drawback. Overall, it's a very good product that sound sand looks good.

Legit Streaming Mic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This streaming and gaming mic is the real deal. It can be used with a PC and while gaming with ease. The size of the mic along with the attached stand can fit easily in most setups. I have been told that the sound quality is great and cancels out a lot of background noise for those on the other end. It has bright colors and the best part is the easy mute option on the top of the mic. There is also a volume knob with volume indicator right in the front. There are buttons on the front to switch from individual or multi directional for the mic which is much needed if you are going from gaming to hosting a podcast with guests. Overall, this mic is one of the best out there.

Very crisp and clear!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound on this is great. Those on the other end of this microphone said I sounded crisp and clear.
With the headphone jack in the back, it makes it look like it's a wireless microphone.
The microphone is sturdy and not heavy. The bottom grips to the table so no worries it's not going to slide off the desk.
The colors make a nice addition as well! Very cool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works perfect right out of the box. No setup needed.
Pros:
1. Build quality is terrific
2. Can be mounted in any angle and at any height
3. Mute button on the top is very handy and helpful during calls or streaming
4. Best part is you can adjust your voice according to how much you want to be heard
5. The light spectrum is so convenient and timesaver
6. Perfect for online content creators.
Cons:
1. It catches keyboard keystrokes and vibrations from table top when it is placed on the desk
2. There is no app for Mac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Quantum Stream Studio is a very good product for the price. My son has used all kinds of different mics for streaming. This is one of the best sounding mics with no background noise. Awesome buy. Highly recommend.

Premium looking/feeling feature packed microphone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never thought I'd get excited about a microphone - but this thing is too nifty to not feel a bit like a kid in a candy shop if you like lights and technology (and people hearing you clearly)!
Before I unboxed the microphone - despite the box not being overly large, the 'heft' was apparent as soon as I picked it up - which was a reassuring feeling. Once I had it out, you can immediately tell most of it is made out of some sort of metal - which is always a plus - plastics certainly do the job in a lot of cases and are fine but durability compared to metals will just never be the same. I feel pretty confident if I manage to slap it over accidentally or my dogs jump on me and happen to hit it - it isn't going to just shatter.
Once I got past the feel and quality of the microphone (A+) - the RBG lighting is hard to ignore, and is a nice touch. I love that you can turn it off and on in the QuantumEngine app and tweak it - very simple to do. The one touch to mute on the top of the microphone is about as simple as you can get - although in my opinion I do wish it was a bit easier to activate (though I can see it being purposely requiring effort so you aren't accidentally muting yourself if you happen to brush against the microphone, etc.). But honestly not an issue, I just have terrible nerve damage in my hands so I often feel like I am putting more effort in to pressing than I probably am.
The instant feedback from the 'VU meter' (not really sure what exactly that means to be honest LOL) is actually very helpful and lets you know if your voice or other noises are being picked up, and basically the volume that they are being picked up at - so if you have something going on in the background or are doing something near to the microphone, without that feature you may not realize it is being picked up - not an issue with this microphone - the RGB dial lets you know the intensity of what is being picked up. Quick example is - I apparently have it too close to my microphone as I write this review because it is lighting up as I type :)
I have only had the opportunity to get some short gaming sessions in with friends I typically play with (so they know my voice, and how it typically sounds with my headset microphone) and they immediately commented on my voice coming through louder / clearer without me saying anything to them about having a different microphone - which was nice to hear. Having the ability to possibly set the microphone to pick up 360 degree (if I was to do a podcast or something else) or the other 'polar patterns' as they are called is a nice plus if I ever have a situation arise that could benefit from those settings.
Personally I will keep the microphone on the included stand but it's nice to know the base can be twisted off (which is very easy to do as of testing) and the microphone mounted to other solutions depending on need.
Something that is also a feature (though I may not personally use) is the ability to hook up a 3.5mm wire from the microphone itself, to my headphones which lets you tweak the voice / headset volume settings like most premium headsets let you do (basically the percentage of voice volume versus headset sound feedback volume) - again nice to know I can do this if I feel the need - if I was not using this microphone I would use this similar feature that is built in to my headset - it does come in handy.
Overall, I think this bad boy is worth the price tag - it's built very well, has just about every feature you could hope for in a microphone (especially if you are serious about your need of a microphone for podcasts or streaming, etc.) and the QuantumEngine app is super intuitive and lets you tweak to your hearts desire if you are hardcore like that :) JBL makes great products and this one does not disappoint.

Sounds great, but ran into difficulty with iMovie
on February 26, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Microphone sounds great, but we did run into issues trying to use the microphone on iMovie. We were able to use it while using other applications on the Mac, but we wasted a lot of time trying to get it to work on iMovie. We also noticed that you didn't have to get close; it was extra loud when we got close.
