This product is definately not worth the money

I would never buy this product line again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. It has lousy suction, stops working before you are done vacuuming an average size ranch style home, leaks dust, clogs up too easily, needs too much maintenance for the price paid for it. Needs to be returned to LG for repair and I have no desire to even speak with the customer service people, as I am so frustrated with the product and mad that I spent as much as I did on such an inferior product.
Pros: retractable cord is only advantage
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DON'T BUY - You pay too much then it breaks

I was really excited when I bought this vacuum. Really excited. However, it has been over a year now and my vacuum is being sent back to LG for the second time. This means I will be without a vacuum in the house for a month. With pets, that is terrible.
Now I truly am upset with LG for making a product this horrible. They will not send me a new vacuum until it breaks for the third time. I am generally a positive thinker but I am sure it will break again.
Please do not buy this vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this vacuum for about 3 years and it hasn't worked for the last 2 years. I've done and tried everything but it has no suction then it overheats and shuts off. I think there may be a clog but just not able to find where it may be or even get to it myself. No service in my area for lg vacuum cleaners. May have to dump it. I read here that it's discontinued so I probably will never get it fixed. Very disappointed cause I love all my lg kitchen appliances just not this vacuum.

I purchased this machine with high hopes that it would pick up my Rottweilers hair. I was very pleased how well it worked the first time I used it. Carpet looked great and it picked up all the hair. After the first use, I noticed that it would pull the hair up but not pick it up. Then it began not picking up any dirt or hair. I re-read the owners manual and followed the instructions for cleaning the hoses, etc. Again it failed to pick up dirt/hair. I looked for holes in the hoses any obstructions and again nothing. I am very disappointed in this vacuum and will NOT recommend it to any of my friends/family, nor will I purchase a LG product again.

This was a replacement vac and the first bagless vac I've had. It performs well and the ease of use is beyond compare. I would recommend this (and have) to anyone interested in a new vac.

We bought the vacuum in August 2011. It was great when we first bought it. It does vacuum as good as most other vacuums out there and there is a lot less dust using this vacuum. For those with allergies and lots of pet hair, this vacuum is great. On the downside, it requires a lot of maintenance. I rinse the canister out about once every 2 weeks or so. I change the filter every week (we have two, so at the end of the 4th week I'll wash both filters in the washing machine) -- at least the filters are reusable! The agitator just broke on my vacuum today. I was very disappointed. I did get great service using the live chat, but I have to wait 7-10 business days to get the part (and didn't get a tracking number). By that time, I will have a mountain of dog fur on the carpets. Hopefully, the part will get here sooner than that. The part is covered under warranty. You do have to make multiple passes with the vacuum to get all of the pet hair up. However, most vacuums require that as well. I would not buy this vacuum again.

Great vacuum

This vacuum has great suction, it is compact in the way that it has placed it's features on the vacuum. The hand tools can be just pulled off the back and used, and the hose is magnetically hooked to the back of the vacuum. The retractable cord is an awesome feature. Probably the only con about this vacuum is that it's a little heavy, but I will put up with that for the great features.

Best Purchase Ever

I have 3 dogs at home and 1 of them sheds A LOT, have purchased many vacuums in the past and they only last like a year or so. We decided to pay a little extra but something that was gonna take care of of the dog hair and this machine was great, the first time we use it you could tell the difference on how clean the carpet looked and feel. BEST PURCHASE EVER. Also very easy to use and easy to clean.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality
