this is such a cool product. i have had it for less than 6 months. but after closing my phone case, the display shows for about 10 seconds and goes black. maybe this changed with an upgrade?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor protection.

The glass on my phone has chipped on the top left corner and I dropped it only once since putting this cover on it. I'm disappointed.

Bought this when the S21 came out. It is just now showing wear and I dropped my phone a lot. I am ordering another one soon! To answer questions the display is to be up for 10 seconds only. You can close the cover and it will show more. You have to make sure your phone is snug not loose to get full protection.
