Not what I thought

I was very disappointed in this conver. It fits awkwardly. It is way larger than the grill itself. It hangs off when not in use at an angle and falls off easily. It also is not very sturdy. Unfortunately it is the only cover and feel forced to keep it to protect the grill.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear you are not happy with the cover! If you can email us photos of the issues you are having, we can look into it further. It should be a more snug fit for your 36" griddle. It has gone through extensive testing to ensure it will protect your griddle top without being too heavy.

The top is good. Only criticism is that you can hang it off the back of the grill as show in the photo with your drip tray on the back.
