The top is good. Only criticism is that you can hang it off the back of the grill as show in the photo with your drip tray on the back.

Not what I thought

I was very disappointed in this conver. It fits awkwardly. It is way larger than the grill itself. It hangs off when not in use at an angle and falls off easily. It also is not very sturdy. Unfortunately it is the only cover and feel forced to keep it to protect the grill.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Found the handles for the lid would not let the bolts tighten just kept turning never got tight. Pre-drilled holes slightly too big. Secured with larger screws rather then the supplied bolts. Handles ok now.

Received my top metal cover for my 36 inch griddle. It was on the griddle for about 6 months before I covered the griddle for the winter,
after surgery, May was the earliest I could use it. removing the cover I found rust spots all over the cover Poor quality Should be power coated
