The hard cover arrived, seemingly well-packaged. However, when attempting to secure the handle to the cover, it was apparent two of the four screws were either defective from the supplier or had been used previously. They were stripped to the point they could be pushed all the way in and pulled back out without even turning them. The quality of the cover itself seems ok and sturdily built, just like the griddle. Quality assurance seems to be a dying function of production and distribution now days. Yes, it's just two screws that I can easily find at a box store or probably in my garage but I shouldn't HAVE to find a replacement for them when I spend this kind of money on something.
The grill cover is nice but the cover came with one broken handle. Black stone is in the process of replacing it so hopefully the new one is not broken.
