Does what it's supposed to, but it is very cheaply made, the metal is very thin, and one of the handles didn't have the threads in it, so I drilled and tapped it for different screws.

Fits well, I have worked this 36" griddle in to a vending cart ( trailer ) and getting ready to do a breakfast menu this summer, wished that it was hinged had to make a strapping device to hold it down during transportation, currently using a 17" Blackstone Griddle and don't have enough space for the menu I'm implementing now but very happy with both of the griddles still need a bacon press and other things but still have time to get them

This is a must for anyone that owns the 36" griddle. Even if you have the full griddle soft cover this helps prevent the griddle from rusting and helps to keep it seasoned.
