No Instructions!!!

I’ve been sitting here for about 30 mins now trying to open this lock. It didnt come with any instructions or a default code on the box. YouTube videos are outdated. I’m about to return this. It has me frustrated for no reason.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Master Lock - 4ft (1.2m) Long x 5/16in (8mm) Diameter Preset Combination Cable Lock is very easy to use and the combo makes it convenient so that there is no key to lose. The 4 foot length allows for enough reach to whatever you are trying to attach your bike to. The raised number one makes it easy to lock the lock by finding them and aligning them into one line. Overall, easy to use and highly recommended.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really shoddy

This lock doesn't offer users the option to change the combination. This is preposterous enough; but, beyond that, the coil is so tight it's difficult to stretch from the bike to the parking rack. In 65 years of riding bicycles, I've never seen a more useless chain.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been trying to change the combo, found out same universal code for them all. I would not have bought this if I had known.

No ability to change combo

Doesn't include instructions on how to set new com

I've been trying to find online instructions. Done going in circles, I'm ready to return these. I ordered 2 & both have the same generic combination, otherwise I'd just leave an assigned code. The option to access the manual takes you to warranty info (see pic)

This lock has one factory set combination. It does not have the feature of changing the combination like our other locks have.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Master Lock 4ft. Cable Combination Lock for my bike and I like not having to carry keys when biking. This way I can lock up when I venture into a coffee shop or down a walking trail to a Vista.

Keeping bikes safer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the chain lock I prefer when out riding and make a pit stop to eat or shop. It wraps around my seat perfectly tucked out of the way and easily secures my bike to a post or bike rack to keep thieves away. It can be cut open by well prepared thieves but I'm pretty sure those thieves are looking for bikes more expensive than mine. This gets the job done perfectly.
