[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice blender, that is very easy to use. Love just being able to just set the pitcher on it and push whichever setting I need. Easy to clean as well. My husband is loving making homemade frappes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So my previous well known with all the bells and whistle gadgets broke a few months ago. I've had such success with my previous Hamilton Beach products, I decided this would be the one for me. Well let me say....I am so happy with my choice! The bells and whistles I thought I needed with my previous blender with all the attachments, all came in 1 unit. No worrying about which attachment to use. Hamilton Beach had all in 1 blender. First I made a smoothie... I'm drink a lot of smoothies, it was great! That evening I decided I would try out the chop feature. It was fantastic! A few days later my daughter wanted to make a Malt Shake. I don't understand why people don't drink Malt's anymore. She was so happy. Her words "Thanks mom, finally something so easy without going thru all your different containers." Ok a daughter saying Thank you, words of gold for a mom.
I highly recommend this product for anyone wanting to have an all in 1 blender. Who might live alone and not have much storage space. For me...this is so wonderful. Hope this helps anyone who might be interested in this product. It met all my needs and more!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like using this blender. My previous blender was similar but the blending jar did not have smooth sides which made it harder to clean food out of the jar. It was also harder to clean. My only complaint is the short cords that are on appliances. My outlets are in a corner, and longer cords would be better. Also, it would be helpful if info was provided for which blending action would work best for which food(s). Some recipes could help too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the sleek design as it nestles smoothly in the base. The fact that it is all one piece guarantees there are no messy leaks coming from the bottom of the canister. It chopped ice quickly with no jerky hesitations. It works great for smoothies and a rough chop of vegetables that I used in a soup. Quiet operation too! P.S. I am still using the Hamilton Beach 7 speed Scovill blender I received as a shower gift 31 years ago. The only problem is the leaking from the canister bottom. Built to last!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OK, let's start off with a little background. Never really got in to cooking till I retired. Messed around with a few recipes here and there and some backyard grilling but nothing you would call a foodie. My boss had me and my wife over for dinner and he is a foodie and I could not believe all the gadgets he had in his kitchen. Besides the built in grill he used his blender a lot. he processed different ingredients that went in to the meal and made drinks with it. I had always seen a blender as something a bartender had behind the counter. Boy was I wrong. He said that he uses it everyday for things like ice coffee to deserts like the chocolate mousse and sorbets. he even uses it as a food processor of sorts , when his wife is on the actual food processor. So I asked him where I should start and that is when he pointed out that all his small appliances were Hamilton Beach. He says he has always bought them and never got disappointed. So I picked up this model and started off small. I made my first smoothie and that was surprising easy. But what I noticed was that the blender did not make much noise and the pitcher actual made all the ingredients go a particular way when it was on, like it was controlling the flow in an way that made it hit the blades more than just stir it around. I am excited to keep trying new things with this blender. My wife loves it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach 10 speed blender has been a great time saver in the kitchen blending everything from Smoothies to Mojitos and Enchilada to Mole Sauces.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the blender mainly for smoothies. There have been no issues with frozen fruit. It crushes ice well, but the ice does get packed if you don't add liquid, so I pulse smaller batches. Given the performance on crushing ice, it would do well for frozen beverages. The multiple speeds are a nice feature.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this Smoothie Blender for a couple of weeks now and let me say, I love it. I've made some great tasting smoothies with this blender. I tried several attempts with my previous blender and it didn't chop the fruit up as fine as this blender gets it. One major pro with this blender is the fact that it doesn't sound like an airplane engine with a seagull stuck in the blades. The next pro for this blender is the fact that it has 7 different settings and the buttons push smoothly. I won't be worrying about the buttons wearing out after a couple of months like other blenders do. It has a low and high speed setting, 2 pulse buttons, one for grating and one for ice crushing, another button for making milk shakes (which is going to be the next drink I make with this blender), A button for Smoothie blending, A button for icy drinks, The pulse button is also labelled for Stirring and Whipping, The Milkshake button is labelled for Puree, Smoothie button is also used for grinding and the icy drink button can also be used for Chopping. I makes it so much easier just looking at the lable that tells you which setting to use. Another Pro is the fact that the pitcher is labelled for different amounts you can make. The only con for this product is the fact that I haven't found a way to remove the blades for easier cleaning, which is really no big deal, especially if you have a dishwasher. I really love the blender and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a multiple use blender. Very solid and high quality product.
