I like how the blender cup is all one piece so nothing to lose or mess up and nothing to break since its plastic I just use and clean up is very easy i would for sure recommend this to anyone looking for something easy to use

Great multipurpose blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this product is multifunctional with high and low speeds. It worked wonderfully making smoothies with no ice chunks nor fruit chunks. I also used it to make malts and shakes. I liked how it blended them.to perfection every time. Very easy to use and clea, does not take up a lot if space for easy storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having just moved to Florida from a colder climate, I decided to try smoothies for the very first time. I found this blender, advertised as a Smoothie Blender, to try smoothies. The price was reasonable.
The blender was easy to use on the first try. It is compact enough for the counter, and looks modern. Though I used it to only make one serving, it is large enough for several servings. The jar can be put in the dishwasher without disassembling for easy cleaning. It did not make a mess of my counter.

There are different speeds for chopping ice, fruit and mixing ingredients. The blade is powerful enough to chop ice and blend. I just blended and poured right into the glass. It’s comes out cold and refreshing.
I pulled some ideas for smoothie drinks from the Hamilton Beach website, bought a bunch of different fruit and mixed away!!! What fun it was to experiment with different combinations! One recipe had me put 3 different kinds of fruit in zip lock baggies, freeze, and use when I felt like it with apple juice. I have tried 3 different recipes with great blended, delicious drinks.
I have already recommended this to my friends who now want to try smoothies and other frozen drinks.

Nice Blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really liking this blender. I love all the different options. My old blender had a hard time blending ice up, it always left chunks no matter what. I made frappes with this blender & they came out perfect. The ice was very fine (my mom said it reminded her of snow cone ice) and there were no big chunks. I also made smoothies & they came out the perfect consistency. I like that it’s a standard size, not too small but not huge either. I can make enough for my family with one pitcher. My old blender I had to do two because one wasn’t enough. Definitely recommend this blender.

Fruit inspired snoball

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My product is great. I made my first batch of fruit snoballs. I bought some fresh fruit and medium ice from my local grocery store. I selected the medium speed, and it worked like a charm. My only gripe is that its not suitable for extremely ice cubes, because it could crack the plastic vase and strip the gears.

Smooth Sailing

I was making an iced coffee drink and it was so fast. I also like that it is light weight. I wish that I could keep it on the counter but it is a little to tall to go under my cabinets ..It was so easy to clean and many speeds

Okay blender but can't handle ice or harder chunks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Hamilton Beach Smoothie Blender with 56 oz Plastic Jar arrived with two hairline cracks in the jar. I found it didn't completely break up all the small cubes of ice, and couldn't break up candies in ice cream. Everything else was liquified though. I prefer a glass jar and more power to break ice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Smoothie Blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with my new Hamilton Beach Smoothie Blender with 56oz. Plastic Jar. I am using it along with my current blender made by another major national appliance company. I haven’t been displeased with my current blender, but I did notice immediately how much more powerful the motor is in this blender and the blades do a much quicker and more thorough job of crushing ice and frozen or fresh fruit in making drinks like frozen daiquiris, margaritas, cosmopolitans, and Bellini’s and smoothies. Hamilton Beach calls the stainless steel blades “Ice Sabre” blades. I am very pleased with its performance as well as the heavy grade feel of it that tells me it should last and continue working great for a long time and the 650 watt motor will have the power for making smoothies and crushed ice drinks for a long time. I have not previously made a lot of smoothies, but I have tried a couple already with this blender and I love them and the texture is perfect. Outside of frozen drinks, another major use of my blender has always been a creamy Mexican dip where I put a 16 oz. jar of hot salsa in the blender and puree it and then add an eight oz. softened cream cheese bar cut into cubes. I tried it with this blender and it worked like a charm and made my easy delicious dip. I am very pleased with this blender and highly recommend it as a great addition to your kitchen and a thoughtful gift for your friends and family.
