Solid simple blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems like pretty simple blender. Made a smoothie with it first and turned out fine. Didn't miss chunks like my old blender would. Haven't tried some of the other features yet. Little surprised it didn't come with a recipe book or simple manual for what the other settings/features would be best for.

Powerful Blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this product. The capacity of this blender is larger than others I have used. It's a full 56 ounces or 7 cups. My first use was to make raspberry pina coladas. I was impressed with the hard plastic container. It is all one piece with the blades attached. This keeps from seals deteriorating or other leaks. After I put all my ingredients in and covered it, I pushed the button marked "Icey Drink". I was pleasantly surprised that I had a creamy evenly blended drink within 45 seconds. Easy to clean by rinsing, adding a couple drops of dawn and blending on low setting. Then rinsed out the soap thoroughly. This will be great in the fall and winter to make creamy soups. The only possible drawback I can see is I will have to be careful with the hard plastic not cracking or breaking.

Great Lightweight Smoothie Blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only used this blender a couple of times but so far I am really liking it. I love to make fruit smoothies and this blended my frozen fruit like a dream! So fast and easy, I had my smoothie in about a minute.
Cleanup was quick and storing the blender works great for me because it’s so lightweight I can put it on a shelf and easily bring it down without it being too heavy. It’s got a pretty handy cord storage on the bottom of the blender, so no annoying cords to try to wrap around the base.
There are a couple of downsides: A) It didn’t crush ice very well. When I tried to crush ice cubes the cubes just seemed to spin around and then got stuck underneath the blades. B) I wish that the blades were removable so that I could just put them in the dishwasher. But really, the cleanup was super easy, so that’s not a big deal for me.
With that being said, for making quick smoothies from frozen or fresh fruit, this blender is great!

Perfect Smoothies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Hamilton Beach Smoothie Blender almost every morning for my morning smoothie. Most of the ingredients that I use are frozen, and the HB smoothie blender has handled everything that I put in it with ease.
The non-removable blade pulls everything into it, creating a vortex in the middle, so I don't have to deal with unblended chunks in my smoothie, the lid has a handy pullout 2oz measuring cup so you can add something while the blender is doing its thing, I find this to be a real handy feature. The lid itself is easy to lift off and fits well enough so nothing leaks out of the blender while you’re pouring your smoothie, you can rotate the lid to pour or strain if need be.
The controls are labeled and easy to read, and the base is solid, no shaking while blending even if the bowl is full. The bowl has graduated scale to 7 cups and has a good solid feel and a sturdy base that will not fall over on your counter. The unit looks really good on my counter and doesn’t take up a lot of space so I can just fill it up, turn it on, and my smoothies ready in the Jiffy.
This is a good solid unit; I expect it to give many years of service.

Light But Well Made Blender For All Blending Ideas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got the blender, I wasn't sure if it would stand up to my style of milkshakes and the first smoothie, I ever made myself. The blender was very light, but well made. I made a vanilla milkshake using the milkshake button. It blended the ice cream without having to manually stir the hard ice cream, blending it very smooth, like you would get at a fast-food restaurant. I very pleased with the outcome of the milkshake, with future trials of other flavors. I made an attempt to make my first smoothie using fruits I had on hand. The blender worked exceptionally well, blending all the fruits (banana's, cherries, and I think my mistake was cantaloupe) using the smoothie button on the blender. The only negative thing I could say is that I wished it would have come with an owner's manual, which sometimes include recipe ideas using the blender. This blender works amazingly well for all home needs, I feel. I can't wait for my next venture (experiment), making recipes with my blender.

Perfect smoothie maker

Worked great, not too big to bring and made the shakes very quickly. Material is good likely that it is lightweight and you have a lot of different options you can make. It’s strong and made of good quality. Highly recommend.

Crushed ice well While not making a lot of noise. Wasn’t sure if I would like the plastic tumbler but it was much lighter then the glass one I had. Loved everything this blender had to offer. So if you need a blender this is the one for you

Just What I Needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first thoughts after pulling this blender out of the box is wow, it has really awesome settings! I washed it first thing then got everything I needed out to make strawberry banana smoothies. I put some ice cubes in there and then my yogurt, strawberries, banana and some honey and hit that ice blemd button first to crunch the ice up and it worked amazing. Then I used the smoothie button and it worked amazing as well. It was quick and mixed it all together with no chunks at all left. It made 6 half cups (for my kids) then I repeated my process and made myself a big ole cup of it. So delicious. Im going to have to look up how to make milkshakes to utilize that button next. I just handeashed it after I was done using it. Next time I will use it in the dishwasher to see how that goes. I am in love with this blended. Love the black color and love that it is suited to what I need it for!
