Love this machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this smoothie maker. I have chopped up some dry ingredients for my soups. I've made daiquiris and I've also grinded up my pepper corns in this machine. Clean up is a breeze, just rinse with soapy water and put in dishwasher. I love the fact it has measurements on the machine and wave action.

I was surprised at how good this blender worked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works surprisingly good for its compact size. When I opened the box I thought that the plastic looked too thin to put ice in the blender and blend it properly. I made a protein smoothie with ice and I was shocked at how well it blended the ice. This will be great for frappes, margaritas and anything in between. This works better than my stainless steel blender. It takes up less counter space than my other blenders and it cleans easily.

Decent plastic blender with *good blades design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A 10-speed, 650 watt blender with average-sized 56 oz (about 7 cups) plastic jar, of average height and footprint. The plastic jar makes it lighter in weight which is nice, but of unknown durability after long term use. I like the blades' "ice sabre" design which provides what they call "wave action" which reduces the need for stirring while providing a more even blending reducing chunks... A plus. It has 2 "pulse" settings with 5 "high" & "low" constant speeds. Overall good initial impression with use for pureeing and blending fruits, drinks with and without ice, and herbed dressings.

Large multiple easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smoothie blender makes multiple smoothies, which is great when you have kids. Inevitably I’ll be making myself one and one of my kids will want some also. We also enjoyed making milkshakes, it did a great chop blending the ingredients together and didn’t struggle with ice crushing. Overall this is definitely an item to keep in the kitchen or great for an RV or camper, party on the go!

Doesn't Blend Evenly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doesn't blend big chunks easily. Would be better if the only thing being blended was the softer foods. The blender itself is also pretty loud. Even the higher settings don't allow too much of the smoothie to flow within the container. To get an even blend, the blender requires multiple breaks to manually stir the ingredients.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes Smoothies, Milkshakes, & Everything Else

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very happy with the Hamilton Beach Smoothie Blender. You can blend at either Low or High Speed, and Pulse. It easily makes smoothies, milkshakes, and icy drinks at the touch of a button. I use it every morning to make breakfast smoothies, and it blends the ingredients consistently, including fruit, for a healthy smooth breakfast drink. Milkshakes are a breeze to make : I used the markings on the side of the pitcher to measure my ingredients and every drink came out perfectly. My Chocolate Peanut Butter Milkshake was delicious, the peanut butter was incorporated completely into the shake, with no lumps. I also made whipped cream, crushed ice, and chopped some nuts. The pitcher is super easy to clean, with nothing to take apart. The power cord wraps around the bottom base of the blender, a nice space saver. There is no recipe booklet included with this blender. There are also buttons to Purée, Grind, or Stir ingredients. A recipe booklet with suggestions for all of this blender’s features would be helpful. The Hamilton Beach website has many recipes listed that you can try. Overall I’d highly recommend the Hamilton Beach Smoothie Blender.

Great Smoothie Blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Smoothie Blender works amazing when making smoothies and protein shakes. My family enjoys making a lot of smoothies and frozen drinks. The blender is easy to use and is lightweight and we enjoyed using it in the kitchen to blend our drinks. It is able to blend ice easily and did a great job when we used frozen fruit as well. My daughter used it to make herself coffee frappes as well and the consistency was very smooth when blended with the Smoothie Blender. I also felt that the blender was easy to wash.
