Perfect for Travel

I make a nutrition drink every morning that consists of Reliv, juice, almond milk and soft fruit. When I travel I have been packing a hand held mixer and large Tupperware measuring drinking cup. It was a bit awkward to handle (fear of knocking the cup over) and weighed 3 pounds for the setup. When I saw this blender and the fact that it is only 1 pound, I decided to try it. Saving 2 pounds in my suitcase is major and because it is one unit when blending (vs the hand held w cup that I had) it is spill proof and very efficient. It also mixes very well. I took it on my first trip a couple of weeks ago and I'm totally happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Personal Blender

I like the size and that it travels well. However, I wish the blades were a little sharper or perhaps adding 2 more blades, just b/c when I made my first smoothie at work I had to let some of my frozen fruit thaw out some so the blades would blend it. Other than that works beautifully. After thought, I made have put too much fruit in at one time. But I love it!

The size is so small it is near impossible to put a dry protein mix in and milk. Secondly, I don't like the only way to charge is by USB, it should also have a USB that can connect to a wall plug in a kitchen. My kitchen does NOT have USB ports. Thirdly, I extremely dislike the inability to clean the crevices of the ring, which you are supposed to put soapy water and run a cycle, but it does not get into the crevices well at the ring. And, you don't want to slice open your finger washing it and can't get it wet otherwise to ruin it. Fourthly, so many parts to shuffle around every use it is a bother. I miss my old blender that died.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
