Though it's portable and compact, the blender is plagued by a host of issues that hamper its usability. The most frustrating is its constant error messages, which are more frequent than the times I've been able to use it. What's more, it doesn't live up to its promise when it comes to blending icy ingredients. Each attempt to make a smoothie or similar concoction involving ice results in an uphill battle with unblended chunks and the device's incessant error messages. I was told it's defective, and have to have a replacement sent, less than six weeks after purchasing it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
