I have had the new cover for about a month and love it. The new quick relase straps are the best. No more fooling with drawstrings! Cover is heavy duty and does a great job of protecting my Joe.

Our old cover finally started to wear out and tear. The new cover 'fits' better: don't have to pull hard to get it over the grill and now can cinch it down. The extra space at the top is a nice touch and avoids any extra pressure on the material!

After 2-3 months this cover is falling apart!!! Completely faded not black. But more importantly the red pin stripe surrounding is has delaminated. For the money this should be higher quality. Very disappointed to have an amazing high end grill with a low quality cover that looks horrible
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Let me start with the quality. It is excellent. From top to bottom. I owned a Vision Grills Maxis (24”) prior to this and it was poorly designed, poorly built, and leaked air like a sieve. The Kamado Joe Big Joe 2 is radically better. The design is better. Parts fit together tightly and are assembled properly. As a result, temperature control is easy, predictable, and reliable. And given the fact that food can be cooked much closer to or much further from the coals. This is also unique to Kamado Joe, it seems.
I suspect this product will serve me well for many years.
If I had one small complaint, it would be about the assembly of the fire bowl. It can be a bit challenging and can result in chipping of pieces as you put it all together, and a simple tool like a styrofoam form would make it much easier. But this is a very, very minor thing.
I’m extremely happy with this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this cover and it looked great for about 2-3 months, then it faded in sun exposure. For the price paid, I'm surprised there is no UV resistance in this material.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cover stitching falling apart and discolouration

Purchased the cover 3 months ago. Started discolouration 2 months after purchase of the cover and stitching. 3 months in, and the stitching is falling apart when you run your hands over it.

Totally amazing the way my new Kamado Joe maintained its temp for 10hrs+ smoking a pork shoulder WITHOUT the use of the temp control device. The temp just didn't budge! I almost hate to say this, but I was a Big Green Egg user for 15 years, but the Kamado Joe just performed better. Cleanup is way easier as well.
