at first ok now upset

Fridge never got cold enough won't get colder than 40 had repair man out in first month ordered new thermostat worried could be a lemon my last wasonly had 5 years so paranoid.
also agree with a review about the freezer door compartment very flimsy and sticks always hard to open drawers not of good quality either.

This refrigerator was a good deal with the rebate offered by NY State. It works, fine, relatively quiet. When you walk past it you and feel the heat at the bottom and I always seem to have a puddle on the floor although the dog's water bowl is right next to it so I'm not sure if it's the frig or the dog.
My major complaint is the shelves on the door. The one where you would put a gallon of milk isn't big enough to hold 2 gallons - what's up with that? Also there is some wonky shelf under the butter holder that I can't seem to figure out why it is set up the way it is. As a result I find it a useless waste of space.

5 repairs, two refrigerators

We replaced our 20 year old unit (functioning fine) with a stainless steel one to comple the appliance update in the kitchen. Freezer was not frost free.Gasket replaced, then controls replaced, the freezer door. Then whole unit replaced. Then controls replaced and bottom door replaced. Then gave up went to another brand.The more people tried to make the freezer frost free, the worse it got. I got pretty good at taking all the food out and replacing it into the next unit.

Frigidaire is disappointing

What ever happened to reversible handles on refrigerators?? Frigidaire seems to have discontinued that feature on most models.
If I didn't have a matching set of appliances, I wouldn't go thru the trouble of locating this item in Frigidaire's line.
If Fridgidaire won't be consumer-friendly, I am taking my business elsewhere...and I buy a lot of appliances.
