I wanted a GOOD affordable Blender for a while now. So, I previously bought a well known brand and it was OK, but it never quite got the job done when I was making smoothies, particularly for making light work of Chia seeds like this amazing obliterating machine does! To say the least, I was fairly disappointed with the other brands model so I’ve been looking to purchase a Vitamix when I saw this one and read the reviews and decided to give it a try and I’m so glad that I did. I love this machine. Thanks for making such a great product!

Better than anticipated!

After gum surgery, I followed a liquid diet to protect the healing tissue. To save money, I defaulted to mostly kitchen-sink smoothies. After unfortunately overloading 2 750w Black & Decker blenders in a row, I saw no choice but to upgrade, and this was the obvious product in its price range. Great so far; blends finely (even full of frozen fruit), looks sleek with a high-res text display, seems durable, and has convenient preset options for auto blending and self cleaning.

I didn't realize what I was missing without this blender. But when we realized it is 4x as powerful as what was in the kitchen, no wonder. It does a fantastic job for smoothies, frappes etc. I may even let it live on the counter, which is unheard of in this house.

So far my only complaint and it’s not a big deal is the soap suds escape the top when in cleaning mode. Blends great and is super quiet!!

First blend: steamed kale and carrots = tastes good and texture is smooth. Somewhat loud, but the lower settings are much more quiet. Intuitive interface, pleasing aesthetics.
