Poor cosmetic quality

Upon installation I found numerous cosmetic scratches and burnishing marks on this under the cupboard microwave. These scratches were probably not visible to the assembly operator because they are not assembling them at eye level in a very bright room. Unfortunately this was also the case on three additional replacement units and it wasn't until the 5th install that I received a unit with what I would consider acceptable cosmetic quality. This quality issue impacted the whole kitchen remodeling project because the back splash tile installer would not install the back splash w/o the microwave installed. I have not had issues since the initial cosmetic issues. I will say however I seldom if ever use the removable shelf because you are limited by height when the shelf is installed. Also make sure you really, really want black because it shows everything.

MY LAST MICRO WAVE LASTED ABOUT 5 YEARS,BEFORE I'T TOOK A DUMP.WE USE IT ALL THE TIME,SO WE WANTED ANOTHER ONE SOON.LOOKED AT A LOT OF THEM AND DECIDED ON THIS LG.IT'S THE EASIEST TO MOUNT,SET AND USE.IT'S VERY QUIET WHEN RUNNING WHICH I FOUND AMAZING SINCE ALL WE'VE HAD WERE LOUD.FOR THE MONEY YOU CAN'T BEAT IT .
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
