It’s perfect except for one detail— I wish they had kept it at 22” to comply with carry on regulations, to decrease anxiety at the gate.

The advertisement says 21 inch.

The advertisement says 21 inch. You should actually put 23 1/2 inches in bold print not in fine print. Air Canada would not except it into the overhead compartment so I had to check it.

Modern Update of an Old Friend

I've been using the same Travelpro suitcase for 20+ years. It's been to New York, Munich, London, Madrid, Kyiv, Paris, Athens, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur and many more destinations. I was looking for its modern equivalent and found it in the Platinum® Elite 21” Expandable Carry-On. I have yet to take my first trip with it, but from all appearances it should serve me just as well or better. The suiter was a key required feature for me, and having a removal one is a nice upgrade, making easy to quickly hang my suit in the closet upon arrival. (Add an image upload to your reviews and I'll post a new / old pic with my carry-ons side by side.)
