[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie is everything you would expect from the Barbie Brand. Great dress, accessories and excellent hair, a beautiful face. My grand daughter loved it and didnt put it down all day, she loved it!

Not a Barbie I'd wish for!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If this doll was used strictly for display in box I would give it a 3 because she is beautiful and my girls love her dress. For playtime she is rated a 1 at best! The dolls hair is HARD! Think hair with so much hairspray it's crunchy and will never move. You can try to crunch it up in your hands so it isn't so hard but this hair can NEVER BE BRUSHED. The shoes will never stay on without the tiny stretchy bands that are around the ankles that they use to package the doll. The arms of the dress are glued onto the doll! This means no playing dress up with other barbie clothes unless you want the dress to tear. The pose would be cute if the arms actually bent at the elbows. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this Birthday Wishes Barbie.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Birthday Barbie is a nice addition to my collection. I love how the box is decorated and the outfit the doll is wearing. The makeup and the hairstyle leave more to be desired. I would have liked to have seen a more natural look for the doll.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This year's African American Birthday wishes doll is so beautiful. I'm glad that an AA one was made because some times they don't make an African American one every year. The 1st thing that caught my daughter's eye was the beautiful pastel dress. It is a 2 piece oufit which includes the little arm puffs and the long fluffy dress. She said the color variation with the purple, pink, yellow and blue is perfect for a princess dress.The faux pearl necklace is removable, but the earrings are not removable, which my daughter did not like so much. The doll has cute little purple shoes, the only downside is that the shoes wouldn't stay on her feet once the rubberbands were cut off. The last thing we both loved about the doll was the big voluminous curls and the small defined baby hairs around her edges. The baby hairs are definitely a nice touch! As for tha doll's make up, it's vibrant! The purple eyeshadow really defines that dolls eyes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My niece totally loved Barbie Birthday Wishes Doll. Her reaction was of excitement. The doll is so beautiful! Her hair was her favorite part — it’s long, soft, and curly, just like hers. She loved that you can style it in different ways, and it makes her feel special seeing a doll that looks like her.
The dress is AMAZING — sparkly pink and purple with glitter that shines in the light. It looks like a real birthday party dress, like she’s ready for a big celebration.

The box design was light and bright, which made her feel extra special inside, like opening a real birthday present.
What she loved the most is that she looks like she can relate to me. The doll has features like hers, and it makes me feel proud and happy when she plays with her.
