A Birthday wish to hold and Cherise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of the Barbie Birthday Wishes doll was that she truly feels like a celebration in doll form. From the moment I saw her in the box, she gave off a soft, dreamy birthday vibe that makes her feel more like a keepsake than just a toy. The presentation is thoughtful, especially with the special occasion packaging that includes a sweet birthday message and space to write a personal note — it instantly makes her feel gift-ready and sentimental.
Visually, she is stunning.
The pastel rainbow gradient gown is the highlight for me. The satiny fabric shimmers beautifully, and the tulle overlay and arm accents add a whimsical, almost fairytale-like softness that fits perfectly with the birthday theme. I especially loved the delicate details — the floral bodice, the bow across her shoulders, and the simple white jewelry that ties the entire look together without overpowering it. Her strappy heels and drop earrings give her a polished, elegant finish.
Her face sculpt is gorgeous and expressive, with well-designed features and a warm, authentic skin tone that makes her feel extra special compared to standard dolls. The wavy brown hair, pinned back on one side, is styled beautifully and holds its shape well, though it does come with a noticeable amount of hairspray to maintain the look. For collectors or doll modifiers, this is manageable, but it’s something to be aware of.
One thing I really appreciate is the Model Muse body. It’s beautifully sculpted and ideal for display and posing, which makes her more appealing as a collectible rather than just a play doll. That said, she does have limited articulation and cannot stand alone, so she’s better suited for display unless placed on the stand that is included or gently handled.

Beautiful for display or play

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is beautiful! She comes in a festive box that would make for lovely displaying if you don’t like to open your dolls. There were a lot of devices holding the doll in the box so she doesn’t shift on display. I would not recommend letting a small child open the doll due to the delicate plastic ties holding her dress in place. I love the full, pastel skirt. Her shoes were rubber banded on, and don’t seem like they would stay on without the rubber bands. I like the stand she comes with because it’s entirely hidden by her dress. Her hair came with a lot of product in it and feels very crunchy. There was no hairbrush included (I’m not sure if that is normal for Barbie these days). If a child were to try brushing the hair, it would probably be a mess. It likely would need to be washed if you want to change the style. Overall, she’s beautiful for display in or out of box. My only gripes are the shoes that don’t stay on and the crunchy hair.

My daughter loved how big the gown was. She comes in a nice box for those who would like to keep her in box. Great for those who like Barbie and pink.
