Great Refrigerator

It's beautiful and very functional. I love it. The only negative is that they back of the shelves don't go all the way to the back of the refrigerator, so you lose a bit of space. This is important for a cabinet depth, where space is minimized to begin with.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: the shelf depth

There were initial quality problems with this unit. The freezer drawer did not align and ruined food in the refrigerator as a result. The ice maker is sub-standard. On the positive side, it looks nice and having two freezer drawers is great.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
Cons: poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought a second home at lake Tahoe and put this refrigerator up there. I absolutely love it. It's the best refrigerator I have ever used - it's convenient the way it's layed out. I love it!!

Beautiful Appliance

I researched for about 4 mos before buying this fridge for my new home. One of the features I wanted was "energy star" savings, so that influenced my decision to buy this model, even though it was pricy. After about 6 mos of use, I received a letter from LG letting me know that their "energy star" rating had been overstated and I would be compensated for the additional monies spent on electricity (on a yearly basis). My first check was about $15.00!!! The second check was $11.00!!! I almost wish they'd never told me! Other than that, this fridge is really a beautiful addition to my kitchen.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings
Cons: Value, not "energy star" rated as advertised
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We replaced a fully functioning side by side for this refrigerator. The double doors and the two drawers are wonderful. Would buy it again in a flash.

It has beautiful style, and works great. Ice maker and water work good, as long as you replace the filter every 6 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It don't has a self defrost and it gets stuck on what you means the freezers don't stay cold and that ice maker don't work I had issues with it a few times a year and I purchased it in 2012 and now I have to replace it because it keeps doing it at least once or twice a month .other than that it lasted .had a repair man come out this month and he said it can not be repaired so get rid of it and don't recommend to get L G
