Windows 11 is difficult to deal with. It's a shame this very capable laptop is hobbled by undocumented, awkward software.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received this product over a week ago and I already have 2 issues with it already. 1) I turned it on, the power light was on but nothing was showing on the screen. I had to wait 15 minutes before it came on and I was late for a Zoom meeting. 2) I was in class yesterday and in order to change tabs I had to use the touch screen cuz the mouse pad on the laptop stopped working but this was briefly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Astonishing and obvious design flaw!

Utter and incomprehensible design failure! All of the connectors are on the left - Power, HDMI, audio, USB-C, and one of two USB-A. The left... where the second monitor goes by default. The left, where most people work their mouse when using the laptop in a portable setting. I had to buy a whole bunch of right-angle connectors just to be able to use my monitor, and they're an incredible pain to disconnect when I take the laptop somewhere. On top of that, Asus has become ridiculously intrusive with their constant emails. This was supposed to replace an aging Asus laptop that I really liked, but the human factors design... well, it simply never happened.
