Great quality/Little lag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera has a great quality viewing experience in daylight, night vision, and with the spotlight. It does give updates when someone or something goes into the line of sight but the notification is pretty delayed (upwards of a full minute at times). As far as actual lag when viewing in real-time, it takes about 3 seconds to show what’s happening. My wifi was noted as strong. Overall a great camera system but I’m not sure I’ll be switching over to more than the one camera.

Nice Security

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the Arlo Essential Outdoor Camera is my first experience with home security. To my suprise, it was rather easy to set up. I love that i can be miles away and still live stream whats going on at my house. I also get notifications on my phone with video snipits of any motion. It can be set to color or black and white for night time videos. I have needed this for years and so happy I tried it.

Easy setup, crystal clear images

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera was super easy to set up right out of the box. Simply connected to my Wi-Fi and ta-da! Also, it has a very clear picture.  Very easy to view video day and night.

You need an app subscription

Will not pair with app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot for the life of me, get this camera to work. I downloaded the app and followed the instructions, and it will not pair. I cannot get it to work. I tried for well over an hour. I will probably end up contacting customer care. But as of now, I am not real happy with it. Would love to see how well it looks all put up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting a camera for the outdoors for awhile now but was not wanting to spend a ton on a ring WELL Arlo is PHENOMENAL! It updates me on literally everything which keeps my mind at ease a lot of times! Bonus points for alerting me when there is a package! Downfall.. you do need to purchase a subscription to the camera after your trial is over.
