After the last power outage -- where we couldn't see cable TV so therefore couldn't get weather updates, i realized i didn't have a simple battery powered radio in case of emergencies. Bought the WeatherX unit and the bonus is it has a separate weather channel that does constant updates. Everyone should have one in the living room or kitchen in the same place you put flashlights and emergency batteries.

The weather bands on this radio come in very clear. No static from the station or miss on the information being broadcasted.

After buying other radios recently, being disappointed with no reception in remote locations, I am pleased that your product was and is what I needed. The reception is certainly better than the other radios, given the remote areas where I generally need it. I have purchased other gpx products in the past, which as most products, have eventually worn out. When this little radio fizzles, I hope l can find another just like it. Thanks.
