Great idea, but terrible performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a loyal iLive customer for many years now. I have bought and enjoyed a number of their products. So when I saw these Magnetic+ speakers, I was sure that I was going to be happy with them. Unfortunately, this time I was wrong. The pro’s are that they are magnetic and that there are two of them that do separate making left and right channels possible. The rubber sleeve that holds them together is actually pretty convenient as well. However, I was extremely disappointed when it came to their sound output. Their high range output is great, but their low range frequency output has to be about the worst quality that I have seen in any of their products. To put it bluntly they are great for vocals but terrible for mid and low range. I am definitely disappointed with this product and wouldn't recommend them to anyone who likes to enjoy the full range of music. Although the idea and design were right on point, the output was way less than expected this time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
