I have never been disappointed with GPX products and this purchase was no exception. I chose it because of the small clock display. It is right next to my bed and I did not want a large, bright red or blue digital display. The tuning is good and the volume will go high enough if I want to use it on my patio while bbq-ing or doing yard work. Even when turned all the way up the sound is clear with no distortion. Very pleased with this little radio.
