Just What We Needed

Just came through Hurricane Helene in Western No. Carolina and had no power, water, internet nor cell service!! What we needed was this small radio with very nice tone, to hear what was happening around us. We were living in a bubble for over a week without any contact with outside world, flooding and washing away around us. Evacuated to our daughter’s in Charlotte. First thing we did was purchase this radio so as not to be caught short again!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought the radio and was impressed with the sound quality and clarity of the reception. The digital station window is a cool feature but would like to have the screen illuminated.

It started to skip right off. It warmed up and quit. Then, it started full time. Can't read display. Couldn't get local radio station. Rather hear static, than listen to the skipping.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
