Must have for your home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a whole home vacuum, two Dyson handhelds and two mini stick vacuums but I needed a shop vac for my garage/outdoor areas. I am so glad I chose this Stanley! It’s perfect! The size is great, super portable (I can carry it around while I suck up cobwebs in the garage) and it has great accessories included. I was slightly confused about the dry bag and how to install it but I figured it out (it goes completely over the inside tube vs the instructions made it seem like it slides into a ‘holder’). One huge benefit is the ability to either ‘suck’ or ‘blow’. Blowing is super helpful! I was able to blow out filters and dust out of my other vacuums (you will not believe how much dust is in those stick vacuums!). Great product and seems very durable. Haven’t used the ‘wet’ vac option yet, but plan to use it next spring when I wash my three seasons room. I typically let it air dry but it takes forever, so being able to suck the water in will help expedite the process!

It doesnt create too much noise, much less than my usual one, was super easy to set up and also came with a variety of helpful accessories.

The components I’d say are on the cheaper side: the hose I fear won’t last super long and the attachments slip off with some regularity, but overall a good product.

Must have for the garage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is fantastic! We keep it in our garage and it really helps keep it clean there. It has no problem with sucking all the wood and metal shavings from my husband's projects. It collects all the liquid spills really well too. Small accessories are great for vacuuming a car. It has a place to stick all the accessories on top of the wheels so they don't go missing. I only wish there were a way to keep the hose with the handle on it too. It is a great and helpful tool thats a homeowner must have!

Extremely Versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a Stanley 8 Gallon (30.28 Liter) Wet/Dry Vacuum for free in exchange for an honest review. We have nothing but positive comments on this unit. It is easy to assemble. We just attached the rolling wheels onto the caster dolly with a Philip screwdriver. For the dry vacuum, it was easy to place the disposable filter bag which fits inside the base, around the permanent filter. One neat feature was the storage of several accessories at the base of the canister (dust tank). The attachments included are a crevice tool, a wide floor attachment (floor nozzle ), a narrow surface attachment (gulper nozzle), 2 extension wand, and a really long 1-1/4 inch hose. The vacuum takes standard size attachments so you can buy additional non-Stanley attachments if a situation were to arise. The drain cap is an uncommon yet useful feature if you are using the vacuum to suck up liquid. Of course, you would need to remove the disposable filter bag. This small vacuum has great suction. For such a powerful vacuum, we were surprise how quiet it is. Also, it has a really long cord of 16 feet, which is uncommon and yet so convenient. Finally, the entire unit is surprisingly light, and we can easily carry it from place to place, even carrying it up and down stairs without a thought. The price of this unit is very reasonable given that it has so many features. Overall, it is truly a useful tool around the house and for the car whether one dabbles with do-it-yourself projects or not.
