I bought it in October 2021, the hood is amazing, fit perfectly in standard RTA 30" inches cabinet
we used it ductless, Charcoal Filter work really well no grease inside the cabinet at all, hood is normal loud but is really strong sucking all the grease and smoke from your range

Nice but loud

I had this exhaust unit installed recently. It looks nice and has good functionality. The problem is that an over-range exhaust unit is very close to the cook's head when standing over a stove. So a loud unit is really bothersome. Unfortunately this unit is loud even at the lowest setting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very good Vent Hood

The R-100 is a very good vent hood and costs much less than many on the market, like Kitchenaid, Bosch, GE etc. Order with the charcoal filters as it helps with fish cooking smells and other strong odors.
Easy set up and operation. Looks great in our new kitchen.
