Faulty Dishwasher

We've bought the dishwasher just over a year ago and we're already having trouble with it. It displays the i30 alarm code which indicates there is an issue with a leak in the water input valve. There is no leak and no standing water yet the error code remains and the dishwasher continues to not work even after resetting the circuit breaker multiple times. Best part is that it stopped working just as soon as the warranty expired. Rather than sinking money into this troublesome washer, we will be replacing it with a better quality brand.

Doesn't dry your dishes.

This dishwasher will not dry anything that is plastic, including its own soap dispenser such that the soap it self get stuck in side the dispenser during the next cycle. Extremely disappointing for such a high-end model.

Quiet....but too much work

We have had this dishwasher for a few months after using a maytag for over 15 years. The first difference is the amount of cleaning that needs to be done before you even fill the DW. If the kids let something sit for a few hours before I rinse it off, it comes out "not clean" to say the least. That was not true of our old DW. We tried other soap packets and washing longer, but it's disappointing. It is quiet...so that's cool.

Good Afternoon, dannyfamous. We want to personally thank you for taking your time to share your important performance concerns and experience with us. Your voice and suggestions matter to us as we constantly strive to be the best home appliance company in North America.
I understand your concern is that the dishwasher is not properly cleaning your dishes. We would like to recommend that you review the Operating Instructions, Preparing and Loading Dishes, and Factors Affecting Performance sections of your owner’s manual for ensuring the optimal performance. You may also utilize these tips listed below.

• Run the faucet closest to the dishwasher prior to starting the dishwasher to purge cold water from the hot water line.
• Try unloading the lower rack first. Water from the upper rack can spill on the lower rack, making the lower rack dishes wet.
• Rinse aid greatly improves drying, reduces water spots, filming. With rinse aid the water will sheet off dishes rather than forming water droplets that cling and leave spots.
• Double check that your dishes are not touching. Fancy cookware can also keep dishes from drying properly. For example, dimples, indents or etching allows water to pool resulting in dishes remaining wet at the end of the cycle; they may require shaking off the water.
• Dishwasher detergent is essential to getting the dishes clean. Using the wrong type or amount of detergent can leave the dishes dirty. Make sure to use only household grade automatic dishwasher detergent that is less than a year old.
• If you have hard water, a bit more detergent may be required to get the dishes clean. You can buy test strips to test whether your water is hard or soft, and then adjust your detergent levels accordingly.

We ask that if you have any remaining questions or concerns regarding the performance of your dishwasher, please contact us directly. Kindest regards – Anna

Does not dry the dishes

The dishes are never completely dry at the end of the cycle; even if I do not open the door for 12 hours! The silverware tray does not dry at all. I like the style and it washes well but am not happy with the drying aspect

Had the dishwasher two years, racks rusting, one of the stemware holders broken, bottom broken out of the silverware compartment and one of my mounting brackets broke. Not rough on this unt, only live in the house six mos out of the year and falling apart. And the best? None of the issues are covered under warranty.

Dishwasher broke after a year and half. Chose to get a new one because the control panel was too expensive to replace.

Less than thw years old and it has broke multiple times. You must wash your dishes before putting then in this dishwasher or it will break. Product looked good and was quiet while it worked.

Hey bkrug83, we hate to hear of your experience with the dishwasher. From you review it sounds like your filters may need to be cleaned. Page 16 of the Owner’s Manual for your model shows how to do this. I hope this helped. Cordially, Ruth

Hey PAOLA! Let's see if we can get your dishwasher to finish the cycles. Does the unit display any error code or flashing lights? I recommend resetting your dishwasher from the main circuit breaker in your home for 1-3 minutes to clear out any cycle selections. Should this information prove to be unsuccessful, please feel free to contact us directly at (888) 203-1389; Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm and Saturday from 8am to 6pm EST so that we can assist you further. Courtney
