Hercules Fruitwood Folding Chairs

The chairs are great and fit into the sleek design of my daughter's table complimenting her other two more ornate padded beige chairs. Yet she sent me a picture showing that high up on one of the legs there was a dent with scratches, exposing the lighter wood underneath the paint . She will have to paint over it so it isn't noticeable . For the price I suppose you cannot expect perfection but it would have been nice not to have noticeable damage on a new chair. The integrity of the chairs is intact, though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HERCULES Series Chocolate Wood Folding Chair with Vinyl Padded Seat is such a beautiful chair. It not only is great quality and very sturdy but it has a comfortable padded seat and held my 200+ husband. I would definitely recommend this chair!

Nice chairs!

I have bought 4 of these chairs for our house and they are good craftsmanship and have held up well for our dinner parties. My only issue is that the weight capacity of the chair is 300lbs. While conducive for most people it’s not good for larger people.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Safety Hazard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old daughter has outgrown her high chair, and we need to buy a new dining table to fit our family. In the meanwhile, I thought this chair would be a temporary solution. Wrong! This chair is not safe for children. The seat does not lock into place. If too much weight is placed at the back of the seat, the seat will fold in (think of a movie theater seat that automatically folds in without weight on the front half). My daughter slipped backwards and got her foot caught in the hinge, crushing her second toe. It is awful! I regret ever letting her sit in that chair.
As for adult seating, the chair is fine. It's a bit on the small side. I'm 5'8" and 135, so fairly average in size, and this chair feels a little small for me. It looks like more of a commercial product than something you would find in a home. The padding on the seat is thin and there are permanent indentations in the foam from the chair being folded up. It does its job, as far as providing a place to sit, but I don't love it. And especially not for small children!!!

Natural Wood Padded Folding Chair

Received ordered chairs earlier than promised. Our former supplier no longer carry this item. These are additions. The fittings on these chairs are superior to the original ones. The older chairs had a number of plastic parts. These brackets are metal. If you are looking for a nice upgrade from folding metal chairs - check these out! Stack well on "piano dollies" We are very pleased with these.
