We started using the machine

We started using the machine in May. Worked perfectly until the first of September. We’ve tried descaling the machine multiple times and changed all the filters. Still not working. Water quality is great but the machine is too delicate for hard water. After doing some research online, turns out we need a water softener in order for this machine to run properly. Wished I would have done more research on this product before purchasing it.

I’m a big fan of the carafe water filter. I purchased an extra carafe and keep one filled in the fridge and one on unit. Always have clean water for my family and to fill up my coffee maker.

I love the clean water I get from Aquatru, it is really delicious. There are a few things that I wish were improved on this model. For one, it should slide freely on the countertop instead of having to purchase something separate from the company. I needed up putting my aquatru on a cutting board to slide along the countertop instead and that works. My second issue is that the water holder sticks often, I have to wrestle it in order to get it out to fill it up again. But overall I do love it and it is perfect for 1 or 2 people.

I absolutely love this product! The water is so delicious. I cannot even describe it! We are waiting to remodel our kitchen to get an under the counter RO but in the meantime, I got this and it is working out perfectly! Our son is renting a place that is older and the water may be questionable, so we bought him one of these too and it’s the best thing ever !

I am on my second Product, and facing the same problem. There are some issus when placing the tank; you have to push hard to make it fit. Otherwise, the lid over the tank doesn’t fit and overtime It is getting worse and worse. I purchased this unit because supposedly it was one of the best to purify the water, but the quality of the product is obviously very bad since there is some issues with fitting the water tank

I love my aquatru!! It has worked perfectly with no malfunctions and we still haven’t gotten the alert to change the filter after a few months so those last for a good amount of time. It’s great being able to drink water with peace of mind! I would say the size is good for 1-2 people, but should definitely get a larger size if there are more people in the home otherwise you’ll be refilling constantly. This size was perfect for my small NYC apt
