New unit has issues

I have purchased MANY carafe units and original units over the years.
The most recent one rattles like crazy, so I requested a new base.
I have contacted Aquatru repeatedly on this issue over the last few weeks -- including sending a video -- but no one has responded.
If they ever do and can help, I will revise the review.

Delicious water

Very simple to setup and use this RO system. It has a small footprint with an easy to maneuver design. The taste of this water is what I imagine the gods drink. It makes the coffee that much better too. Highly recommend the alkaline filter. Aquatru has made me an incredibly happy customer.

I really like the size of the machine, and ease of use. I like to be able to fill the water tank and let it fill the carafe as needed. The water taste great, too.

We have very hard water and it filters it out better than any water filtration system I have used. Better than the in fridge filtration too. Easy set up, sleek design and great tasting water! Love that the carafe is glass too. Would definitely recommend.

My experience in searching for the best water.

Unit arrived made of 100 percent plastic which I was trying to get away from. After installing the filters, 5 times it leaked out the side of the water tank. It also would not stay running....would fill about half the container and then shut off several times. I thought it would be healthier with the glass container, but your basically running all your water through several plastic parts to land in the glass container. To me, its silly and still creates plastic particlces. I returned this unit and went to a gravity fed stainless steel countertop model called Membrane solutions. Several of my family did as well and we all LOVE it. I run bottled water through it to remove the plastic particles and the water tastes amazing.
