Water filter is fine but the glass carafes are bad

I have had the AquaTru Carafe water filter for just a few months. I have gone through 3 glass carafes, which are not cheap and expensive to ship. They break very easily and the latest one has a crack below the handle. These carafes are not well made. If you buy this filter be prepared to purchase a lot of glass carafes every year!

Had to call about water fill tank on back not seating itself properly. You have to hit the plungers on the bottom sometimes for it to seat properly on base.

I LOVE my AquaTru carafe! Our family of 3 was buying so much bottled water. It was a little hard to think about the up front amount of money, but do the math of how much you spend on bottle water (and the waste/environmental impact!) and it’s a no-brainer! We’ve found that we drink so much more water and no more annoying trips to the store when we’re out of water.
The carafe fills super fast too! We have a small space so the large model didn’t make sense. But this was seriously such a great investment! DO IT!! If you’re on the fence, take the plunge. You won’t regret it!

I really like this water

I really like this water purification system. I haven’t had to change the filters yet, so I’m hoping it will be effortless. The only issue I have with it is I feel it wastes a good bit of water, and because the waste water has so many impurities in it, that it can’t be used for anything purposeful. Other than that, I love it!
