it was so difficult to install the filters, but when I finally jumped the hurdle, the water tastes great.
Also, I am one person, but I am finding it cumbersome to empty and keep refilling the water tank.

I own 2 of these and love my first. My most recent purchase does not allow the water tank to ‘seat’ all the way down, so the cover rarely goes down all the way……. an annoyance.

I purchased the AquaTru Carafe

I purchased the AquaTru Carafe Purifier several months ago and couldn't be happier. I live in an apartment so the countertop model was a great option. I researched for quite some time before ordering, turns out that was time well spent! I also got a "water tester" gadget because I wanted to compare AquaTru, my tap water, and my old filter pitcher. Of course I can taste the difference but was shocked to find out the old filter pitcher was worse than the tap water! When my son came to visit, he was so impressed with AquaTru's water he immediately ordered one! Love how it doesn't take forever to fill the pitcher up, and you can remove the pitcher when its filtering, it stops and resumes when you put it back on the base. I love knowing I'm drinking clean water, and since our bodies are mostly water, its importance is paramount. Plus my plants love it too! It really is beautiful on my kitchen counter, my favorite appliance in my kitchen. Thank you!

I really like the quality of the water, but a part has already broken on the bottom of the portion that gets filled with water prior to processing through the filters.

Tastes like fresh air! I'm surprised what a great difference the carafe/filters made as opposed to using a charcoal filter pitcher.
Only con is the tank is a challenge to seat properly sometimes. I found that if I seat it on the right side first (facing the unit),the back lid will close as designed. Even with that being said, I would purchase this unit again.

Excellent quality. My favorite part is how easy it is to set up and clean. I can stay on top of cleaning it so it may last for a long time. The lid is hard to close over the bucket. So it has to be in there tight and I press the bucket down. I feel like over the next few months, it could stop working if the bucket will not sit right and then the lid will not close all of the way.
