The water tastes like rotten

The water tastes like rotten eggs even after running water through it for 3 days and over 30 pitchers. There’s also a ton of wasted water for every pitcher. We were using for an rv so the wasted water doesn’t work for us. Had to return couldn’t drink it/justify the price.
We have been using the AquaTru for several months. The system filters water so well. My family truly notices the difference. My sons, husband, and I are drinking much more water now and it's wonderful to avoid the use of plastic water bottles, while instead using refillable water containers.
An affordable, easy-to-use solution for truly clean drinking water for those who are renting or someone who can't afford to install an undersink reverse osmosis system. This system works hard to remove all the nasties from your water, so occasional maintenance is necessary and understandable. I love my AquaTru and would buy it again!
I am very satisfied with my AquaTru Carafe. I have been using it for over a month now, and although the results or benefits are not something you can see directly, knowing that many harmful elements (such as bacteria, heavy metals, microplastics, and others) are greatly reduced is very reassuring. This is especially true knowing that the information comes from a serious company that stands behind its product and ensures that what they promise is actually delivered.
Before purchasing my AquaTru, I had read some reviews mentioning that some people found the taste of the water to be too “flat” or not to everyone’s liking. Personally, I really enjoy the neutral taste because it gives me the feeling of purity.
I also purchased AquaTru’s mineral drops because I wanted to add essential minerals back into my water. They give it a more familiar taste and, once again, provide minerals that may be reduced during the filtration process.
It is a masterwork of engineering. Now that I've purchased the tray, it's much easier to move around the counter.
My only concern is the tap water tank tips away from the body of the carafe. I use a piece of paper tape to keep it snug against the body of the carafe.
I like it very much and the taste of the water is good. However, I hate throwing away all the water after it purifies can that water be used to water plants?
