We bought the AquaTru carafe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the AquaTru carafe in the hope of reducing our use of plastic water bottles. Little did we know that we would end up loving the water! It tastes better than any bottled water. It is amazing that it can take our foul tasting tap water and transform it like that. We all drink a lot more water now. We did get the alkaline mineral boost filter. So far we are loving our AquaTru carafe.

Issues with lid closing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Altho, I like the concept of a counter water filter I’m annoyed with the lid not closing when the tank is on. Fiddling and trying to get the lid to close properly has been an annoyance. I don’t know if anyone else has this issue or I have a faluting water filter with a lid that won’t close right. 😔😒

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My AquaTru Carafe arrived on time and is a good looking small appliance. I read the manual through and got a better idea of what it would take to use this for my water source in the kitchen. I decided it just does not filter enough water for me. I would be refilling this little tank several times a day for drinking, cooking, and my pet. It most likely makes good clean water. It gets 4 stars because it's too small for me, and I'm a one person, one pet household. Get the system for under the sink! I've returned this item.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Aquatru carafe. I was easy to set up. The water is so good. I feel safe drinking it and giving it to my Shih Tzu.
It look great on my countertop. It's the perfect size. I bought an extra pitcher so I can keep one in the fridge. It was such a great deal as I bought it over the earth day sale. I got a lot of things for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this company and product!!

The only problem I have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only problem I have with the unit is that the untreated water container does not sit flush at the back of the machine. I always have to push it down very firmly for it to seat in place. It worked the first two times, and after that it stop siting the right way.
