I previously had the X260 and X390 laptops and really liked that small form factor. In buying the X1 Carbon with the thinner bezel, I actually get a bigger screen with nearly the identical footprint of my prior smaller screen models. This laptop is fast, lightweight and the screen is crystal clear. Truly the best laptop purchase I've made in years and highly recommend it.
