I have fitted my MXT275 in the canopy using the mic extension to the cab, keeps it nice and stealthy and away from prying eyes. I love the 3db Ghost antenna mounted to the canopy roof bars, good reception with a small profile, again for that stealthy look.

This kit is awesome and very easy to install. The main unit is very small and can be installed anywhere in your vehicle. The kit comes with a very long mic extension and plenty of antenna wire.
Midland also gives you the option of changing the mic color to match your dash. Awesome, all in one kit. A must buy.
