This is the perfect package for an off-roader who is new with GMRS. Simple and easy to install and operate with enough power not to overwhelm the battery or stator on my UTV. The small form factor is also ideal for the cramped quarters of these machines allowing plenty of flexibility for installation.

Just installed it this weekend in my GX460 - put base in glovebox and hardwired into the fuse block on drivers side. Also ran the microphone extension over to driver side for extra flexibility. The antenna was easy to install and looks great on my ditch light extension. So far so good - looking forward to getting out of the city and really testing it. Weather station came in very clear.
