The MXT 275 is a great radio for communicating while on the road or while off roading. Installation was pretty easy (thanks to watching a couple of YouTube videos.) My only negative was the stick on mic clip. I’m having a hard time getting the adhesive to stick. I’ve come out to find my mic and the clip on the floor. But, there are other alternatives that should solve that problem.

I am very happy with my purchase, this replaces an older CB system that didn't have the range I was looking for. Wish I had known the speaker is on the box, instead of the Mic, though. I would have purchased a separate microphone earlier.

I started with one of those cheap overseas handhelds and upgraded to this. Hookup was absolutely minimal and the range is outstanding. In the mountains of NC I still get approx 8 miles of range with the ghost antenna!! That’s OUTSTANDING!!
