Bought the bundle for ease.
Nice 3dB antenna attached quickly to my tire carrier.

Mounted unit to my console with 3M mounting tape.
Used fuse tap to hardwire into my Jeep. Cigarette plug would be useful if moving the unit between rigs.
Mic holder adhesive failed. Center of the sticker separated and fell off in <12 hours. Used 3M mounting tape instead.

This is my 2nd radio, I purchased one when they first came out. It has been put thru its paces being swapped from Truck, Jeep, and SxS. It has been subjected to rain, dust, and heat, and has never missed a beat. Works better than expected. If you don't get the range you want swap out to a whip antenna.

Terrible lack of installation instructions

Just got it and unboxed it. Didn't pay attention to how the low-profile antenna cable was out together before I unscrewed the antenna connector to get it through the mounting bracket hole. Now I don't know how it goes back together and there are no photos or instructions. Just awful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
