Nice Chair

Received chair in good condition with all parts there and with good fit. Finish and upholstery are very nice. I purchased the beige one. My two issues with the chair are this, I feel like I am sitting on top or the chair instead of in it. I'm 5'11' 185 lbs. Not a big deal though, I am sure i would get use to it but it is turning into my wife's chair as I have gone back to my old recliner. A Bigger issue for me is the placement of the lumbar support. For me it is a little high and forces my reared out from the bottom of the back of the chair. I had to put an extra pillow there to fill in the space but still found myself hiking back into it. All in all a nice chair but as I said, I am back to my recliner until I find another like it with a better fit for me.

Recliner And Ottoman

I ordered two Contemporary Black Leather Recliner and Ottoman with Swiveling Mahogany Wood Bases and received them exactly when they said. I wish other companies were as efficient. After putting them together, I found them to be very comfortable. All in all great value. Cons: They were dropped off by Federal Express. According to directions I was to inspect all pieces before the delivery person left. The boxes were well packed ( too well packed). It is unreasonable to inspect every last piece or the Fed Ex would be there over a half hour. I did my best check everything. I took all pieces out and looked at them as quickly as I could. What a mess on the front lawn. I did not take off the thin roll styrofoam around the wood parts because of the additional time factor. After removing it I did see damage ( a one inch diameter Chunk) to the one base. I believe this was NOT done in shipping but was shipped this way. I say this because there was no wood fibers or damage to the styrofoam. I give the product a 5 star for its value. I would give a 3 star for shipping and handling experience.

We received our new chairs yesterday. I love them and they go very well in our RV. The assembly wasn't difficult at all. The only complaimt I have is the seat height is not 18". Its 16". Great for short people. Is there a way to raise the seat?
