“Everyone Is Awesome” And An Awesome Set Too!

First forgive the length of my review. This set for me, is a very meaningful set. I have my own reasons which I will only say are not those of the “mainstream” populous. I hold them close to my heart and try to remember them at every opportunity which makes me a stronger individual in all my interactions with others throughout the day. Perhaps You’re wondering why I am telling you this? I mention it as it is important to remember that this design may have been created by a member of the LGBTA+ community and for sure has specific meaning for that group. For the designer and his community it represents a struggle fought for decades and continues to this day. The mini figs represent “differences” rather than those individuals with say that purple skin! In the same way there are many other people who are not necessarily represented such as those with disabilities etc. It is this unintentional ambiguity which allows it to be so very meaningful to so many “different” humans the world over!
As far as the set goes it is well constructed and very easy to assemble. It does as others have mentioned have the 18+ moniker which will allow a parent to look it over before passing it to the child and decide if a discussion should be included that might benefit said child. I also understand that believe it or not, there are countries that would not allow the set to be sold without it. I don’t know for sure but my guess is that for consistency as they have in all others, kept it at 18+ around the world. Perhaps some cynics might say it was for monetary gain to allow more sales but I prefer to have “my glass half full” rather than “half empty” and believe it was for the terrific messages that are possible and so badly needed in this era. Enjoy it!

It looks even better in person, built. My students LOVE it in my classroom. They built it for me. Shows that my classroom is a safe zone.

I received this Lego set for the holidays. I decided to build the background according to the directions but decided to diversify the minifigures to reflect people who positively impacted my life. I highly recommend this set!

I like this set, however I think the build istself is lackluster, and I wish it was more intricut. But the colors pop and the strong color theming is so bold it mostly makes up for it.
(Reffuring to Lego here)Personally as Queer lego fan, Lego needs more set with casual queer representstion, or even more pride sets in general would be apretiated.

Monocoloured minifigs are pretty cool. Although I don't collect them this was an instant buy for me. It's a nice little display piece.

Cute but NOT 18+

I love that Lego released something for Pride Month. However, it's definitely not 18+ as the box indicates. My son says it's more like 10+. He's an advanced builder and put together the entire set in less than half an hour.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
